A Story Without Words

My interest in family history started long before I ever thought to write about it. Ours is a family that loves stories, and the tales I tell are often simply a retelling of our shared oral family history--the stories we all grew up knowing. And so I have been unsure of where to begin this blog. I thought at first I might start with Grandfather Biskupovic and his beautiful island on the Adriatic or maybe a story about my red-haired, Irish 2x great Grandmother, Annie Giblin. Instead, after some consideration, I will begin with this photograph taken in 1965--a story without words.
